Grace is making the most of her break while Blow wonders “what the …???”
Meet Jasper and Sharon. Probably my favorite success story. Other trainers had evaluated him and given him no hope of recovering from 4-years of abuse but I saw the real dog underneath the veneer.
Jasper suffered from severe fear and physical problems. Upon arriving, I invited him into my home an...
Coming Together. During these challenging times of isolation and unrest, it's hard to stay focused, upbeat and hopeful. As I look through some of my photos, I am once again reminded that it's the small things - the little moments we share with someone or something we love - that really matters. T...
Read MoreYessie, Caesar and I were down at the river today and I was reflecting on how lucky I am to be able to share my life with them. They bring so much peace and happiness to my life. It's my responsibility to do the same for them. Training your dog is not just about obedience. It's about both of you ...
Read MoreBuilding Your Dog’s Confidence.
One of the most common issues I see in dogs today is lack of confidence. Whether it’s fear of new people and places, inappropriate aggression or overprotective/defensive behavior, insecurity robs your dog’s ability to fully participate in life. These dogs are oft...
How’s Your Recall?
The most important skill you can teach your dog is a fast recall. There is nothing more critical for your dog’s safety than to come when called. A recall is not a training exercise. It’s a survival skill as important as food, water and affection. So whether your dog is 5 pound...
Training is a never-ending journey. A path defined by boundaries with forks along the way where you must choose a direction. With each turn, you are presented with new sights, sounds and challenges. That's why situational training is so critical to long term success. A dog's reactions differ depe...

My favorite part of teaching is watching what my clients are able to accomplish with their dogs. The progress they make week to week is inspiring. The accomplishments are truly theirs. They are the ones doing the training using the exercises and observation techniques we introduce during lessons....
Read More- Kaelin KWe are so grateful to have found Tracey! We brought her our 7 month old Aussie/Blue heeler mix that was horrible on leash. She used to bark so aggressively at people, dogs, even if the wind blew the wrong way. By the second lesson she was already much calmer on the walks and was able to walk by people without any problems! By the third lesson we were able to walk on a trail with both dogs and people without a problem. Without her help I don't know how we would have been able to calm down our dog. She also was very aggressive when people came into the house and we found methods to calm her down and realize if we are letting someone in it is okay! Tracey is a wealth of information not only with training but also just any questions that you might have when owning a dog. We are able to take Ren out of town with us, to Starbucks, and new places because she is able to listen and be calm. We also boarded Ren with her when we were out of town and she did not want to come home because she ha...
- Christina VTracey is excellent with dogs, we did a six lessons with our 2 year old collie and the results were amazing. She taught us so much, and my dog loved her.
- Karlene FTracy was great to work with! When we adopted our rambunctious puppy, Presley, she was a little bit more than we had bargained for! Tracy was very patient with her and she was more well behaved each time we picked her up. Tracy was very accommodating as far as drop off and pick up, etc.. We could always tell that Presley really enjoyed her time 9th Tracy!
